We do not have any dogs available at this time, nor any litters planned.
Having grown up watching the Westminster and Eukanuba Championship dog shows on TV, I always wanted to have a dog that could do it all; conformation, obedience, agility, hunting and therapy work. So when I was finally in a place in my life where I could start living my dream and began to search for the perfect breed I was drawn to the intelligence, drive, loyalty and elegance of the Standard Poodle.
My goal is to produce a Total Dog who is able to compete in conformation, performance and be a model of exemplary health. Therefore in addition to a UKC Grand Championship, our dogs will always earn additional titles and be fully health tested, with results registered with OFA, prior to breeding.
Every puppy is a “little blessing” and that is exactly what the name “Tova” means in Hebrew. Every dog I have ever had and will ever had will hold a special place in my heart. I couldn’t imagine my life without my dogs and hope that perspective puppy owners feel the same way.
I am also devoted to improving the Multi-Colored Poodle. While an original color pattern of the poodle, many Parti puppies were culled by show breeders. As a recessive trait, the parti gene can be hidden for many generations and without show breeders producing quality parti colored dogs, they fell into the hands of puppy mills and backyard breeders. I am proud to join the family of responsible parti poodle breeders who fully health test and breed for conformation and temperament over color. Currently the AKC and CKC do not allow Parti or other Multi-Colored Poodles to compete in conformation events, however through careful breeding and outcrossing to solid lines to improve the Parti Poodle, it is my hope that one day they will be allowed to compete against their solid counterparts in the conformation ring. Parti Poodles can still be registered and compete in performance events for both registries.
In 2005 the UKC officially accepted the Multi-Colord Poodle as a desperate variety of the breed and allowed these beautiful dogs to be shown in all events. In 2017 the MCPCA merged with the United Poodle Breeds Association to form the United Poodle Association. I am proud to be a member in good standing of the UPA, serve as the yearly Specialty Show Chairperson and am currently on the Board of Directors as the interim Membership Secretary.
Thank you,
